About
World Human Relief (WHR), also known as the World Humanitarian Solidarity Association, is a non-profit, non-governmental organization working to prevent violence, improve education, and support sustainable development. WHR provides humanitarian aid, psychosocial support, and trauma-focused interventions to individuals and communities affected by natural disasters, poverty, disease, and socially constructed adversities.
Services
6Strengthening Social Peace and Social Justice
We organize conferences, panels, trainings, seminars, and campaigns to prevent violence and trauma on rights violations, violence, and trauma. This creates a society sensitive to violence and trauma, promoting lasting peace and social equity.
Preventing Child Abuse and Forced Marriages
WHR carries out trainings on child neglect and abuse prevention, family counseling, and psychosocial studies for sending girls to school throughout Turkey and in rural areas. This protects vulnerable children and halts early forced marriages.
Enabling Access to Education
We build schools with informatics and library rooms in rural, disadvantaged areas, and provide educational scholarships to families who are economically weak. This initiative bridges the educational gap and transforms the lives of vulnerable children.

International Trauma Studies Certificate Program
An international certificate program run in collaboration with the International Trauma Studies Program (New York), Bahcesehir University, and Bilgi University. It equips clinical and non-clinical professionals with up-to-date knowledge in psychotraumatology, trauma-sensitive approaches, and community resilience strategies.
International Relationship and Family Studies Certificate Program
An international certificate program coordinated by World Human Relief in partnership with CUNY City College of New York and Bahcesehir University. The training program aims to prevent domestic violence and equip mental health professionals to effectively treat relationship and family problems.
