Response is a registered mental health and housing charity providing person-centred support across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire. The organisation operates supported accommodation, early intervention community hubs, and specialised outreach programs to assist young people and adults facing mental health challenges and multiple disadvantages in rebuilding stability and independence.

Services

Adult Supported Accommodation

Response provides a spectrum of housing-related mental health support for adults facing complex challenges and multiple disadvantages. Offerings range from visiting support to 24/7 on-site supported living, transitional step-down housing, and CQC-registered care to empower residents in developing independent living skills and long-term stability.

Young People's Supported Accommodation

A countywide supported accommodation initiative for young people aged 16 to 21 who need stable housing and assistance building life skills. The service delivers tailored progression coaching, education and employment engagement, and holistic multi-agency support to prepare young individuals for successful transitions to independent living.

Thatcham Wellbeing Hub

An open-access and preventative mental health service based in West Berkshire offering drop-in support and 12-session targeted 1:1 interventions for young people aged 11 to 25. The hub utilizes youth worker-led approaches, social prescribing, neurodiversity awareness, and school outreach to support mental wellbeing.
