GAZBİR GAZMER is the technical center and economic enterprise of the Turkish Natural Gas Distributors Association (GAZBİR), providing professional training, vocational certification, product testing, meter calibration, and R&D services to establish a safe, efficient, and standardized natural gas market in Turkey. Acting as an accredited conformity assessment and vocational testing center, the organization aligns national operations with international energy standards.

Services

Vocational Examination and Personnel Certification

Provides accredited personnel certification and vocational testing under TS EN ISO 17024 and MYK authorizations. The center evaluates and certifies the qualifications of natural gas technicians, welders, and operators across fifteen distinct energy sub-sectors.

Natural Gas and Energy Technical Training

Delivers comprehensive technical training programs designed for engineers, technicians, and municipal crews. Covered topics include indoor natural gas installations, industrial project design, occupational safety, polyethylene welding, and emergency response management.

Energy Sector Inspection Services

Performs TÜRKAK accredited Type-A inspection and conformity assessment services for gas installations, chimneys, combustion appliances, and boiler rooms. These assessments verify compliance with national security regulations, structural codes, and global energy distribution safety frameworks.
