About
Connecting Cambridgeshire is a digital connectivity programme led by the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority and hosted by Cambridgeshire County Council. The initiative improves regional digital infrastructure by facilitating superfast and gigabit broadband rollout, expanding 4G and 5G mobile coverage, delivering free public access Wi-Fi networks, and implementing smart city data solutions across urban and rural communities.

Supports telecommunications and mobile network operators rolling out critical broadband and mobile infrastructure across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough by liaising with local planning authorities, coordinating streetworks, and implementing ducting policies to accelerate delivery.
Digital Inclusion Support
Provides guidance, grant schemes, and resources to help residents and organizations build digital skills, access devices, find social broadband tariffs, and establish community digital hubs across rural and urban localities to bridge the digital divide.
